So today I painted a brown pelican. I like how I didn't paint over the canvas around his body. Done at http://www.nrm.se/. Alla prima oil on cavnas, aporx 7 hours.
the beak detail is immaculate! Wow! I can really see you starting to have your own approach to painting in this painting. This is really great. I think its my favorite one.
Ye! I am happy with it as well. Tomorrow again at the museum. There's some mammals at display but will do only detail, like head. They're to big for alla prima in one day.
