Sun Bringer Kisosen

A recent work that will be apart of my upcoming exhibition next year in Stockholm. 

Charcoal and chalk on tones paper, 72x55cm.

 It is called Sun Bringer Kisosen. Eagle Myth: The Abenaki solar deity “Kisosen” meaning “Sun-Bringer” Was symbolized as an eagle whose wings opened to create the day and whose wings closed to create the night. ( source: www.warpaths2peacepipes.com )

Nymph

Finally I have managed to finish this drawing. 
Soon I will also leave for USA, first time ever there. It will be interesting since I am going to Atlanta, Georgia for the American Portrait Society. 
Charcoal and Chalk on toned paper. Around 46x73cm. 
I love drawing horns. I will start painting soon and this will be pretty much my subject and voice. Thank you for watching.

Henrik Sahlström, 2015 International Portrait Competition Finalist of American Portrait Society

I have drawn Henrik Sahlström as a knight and also participated at the American Portrait society. I am one of the finalists http://www.portraitsociety.org/#!internatonal/c15nh and I will go for the first time to the USA! Exited!

A beautiful swedish woman, Julia. She was one of the best models I ever had. Fun and a lot into the documentaries I gave her to watch while posing.
a total of 8 hours from life and extra to work on the background when she was not around. Done all from life.

Hannah Webb

I had the chance to paint Hannah Webb, the daughter of a friend of mine. This is unsual small painting size for me, 22x26cm alla prima oil on linen.

It is good practice since I have a small commissions waiting for me and I wanted to paint from life before starting on it.

Painting your pet

I love painting animals so I had the chance to paint this awesome little guy trying to do a trick to get a treat! I do work from photos but I also painted dogs from life ( which is harder but more fun and more demanding from the owner and the dog )
